Junior Development

Junior Golf Clinics

Small-group junior instruction built around fundamentals, fun, and real improvement. Tracks for every age and skill level.

Philosophy

Fun and improvement aren't opposites

Most kids quit golf because it stops being fun — usually because someone put them in situations they weren't ready for, or drilled mechanics until the joy drained out. That's not how we run clinics here.

Every session is designed so juniors are competing, problem-solving, and moving — not standing in line waiting for a turn. The fundamentals get built in through activities that feel like games, not lectures. Improvement is the byproduct of engagement, not the other way around.

Small groups mean your junior gets real coaching attention every session. Six kids per group is the ceiling — not the default.

Program Tracks

Three tracks built around how juniors actually learn at each stage — not a one-size program split by age.

Ages 6–10
Track 1

Foundations

The goal at this age isn't technique — it's falling in love with the game. We introduce the basics through movement, competition, and plenty of laughs. Loaner equipment available for families just starting out.

  • Grip, stance & basic setup
  • Putting & chipping games
  • Golf etiquette on the course
  • Short course play on par 3s

Ages 11–14
Track 2

Development

This is where the game starts to click. Juniors in this track are ready to build a real swing, develop their short game, and start thinking about how to score — not just make contact.

  • Full swing mechanics & sequencing
  • Wedge play & bunker fundamentals
  • Course management basics
  • Supervised 9-hole play

Ages 15–18
Track 3

Competitive Prep

For juniors who want to compete — high school teams, junior tournaments, or simply playing their best golf. We work on the details that separate good players from ones who actually score.

  • Advanced ball-striking & shot shaping
  • Pre-round & in-round routines
  • On-course playing lessons
  • Tournament simulation rounds

Common Questions

What should I bring - Equipment?

Junior clubs if you have them — loaner sets available for Foundations. Golf shoes or athletic shoes with soft soles (no running shoes with hard heels). Glove optional, especially for younger juniors.

What should I bring - Everything else?

Water bottle — we're outside and moving the whole time. Sunscreen applied before arrival. Layers — Pacific Northwest mornings can be cool on the course. A junior who's ready to have a good time!
