The Lewis River Hickory Classic
Golf as it was meant to be played — one round, one afternoon, good company, and friendly competition along the Lewis River.
About the Event
The Lewis River Hickory Classic is a one-day individual stroke play competition celebrating the game's earliest traditions. The event will be held on August 29th, with tee times beginning at 12:00 p.m. off the first tee at Lewis River Golf Course in Woodland, WA. The event follows SoHG equipment guidelines for pre-1935 hickory equipment, and players are encouraged to dress in period appropriate attire for a truly authentic afternoon on the course. Green fees are paid directly at Lewis River — there is no separate entry fee. Prizes will be awarded to the low gross champions in both the men's and women's divisions. Following play, we'll gather for dinner at the course restaurant — optional, but strongly encouraged. We look forward to a handsome field of men and ladies and a fine afternoon of hickory golf.

Individual stroke play, 18 holes, gross scoring. Two divisions: 1st Place Men's Gross and 1st Place Women's Gross.
